MVP is one of the most intuitive evidence recovery systems available. Some of the impressive, smart features include:

• Longer Pre-event recording... Because the system is always on and keeping the latest video in temporary storage, it can be programmed to permanently capture anywhere from 1 to 60 minutes prior to an event.
  

• Tamper resistant... No one can modify, erase or otherwise alter recorded data once it is in the proprietary system.
  

• Transmitter... KCI uses a 2.4GHZ Digital audio system. Custom designed for public safety, it employs one of the smallest transmitters available at just over 2 inches in length. It provides excellent audio clarity and can be synchronized with any MVP receiver.
  

• Fail Safe... The transmitter has "in use" and "low battery" light indicators as well as built-in audio detection for out of range indication ensuring continuous operation. Its rechargeable battery allows six to eight hours of continuous operation or 14 days of standby time.
  

• Panic Button for added support
  Its unique "panic button" is one more way that law enforcement personnel gain a serious advantage with MVP. This button on the transmitter can be programmed to open a K-9 unit door, turn on lights or another external cue to assist in the field with a touch of the button.
  

• Each docking station has a charger which allows personnel to charge the transmitter in the vehicle.

Detailed Evidence Capture
No other digital capture system is this unobtrusive and easy to install, maintain, and use. MVP gives every vehicle the "eyes, ears and memory" to document evidence that will stand up in court.

Administrator Playback Viewer
MVP keeps a comprehensive log file of vital supporting data that is displayed by KCI's administrator playback viewer. The log file includes: Vehicle ID, time and date of each start/stop event, brakes, lights, microphone use during recording, operation of camera and other automated operations initiated by the system. The administrator also exports the proprietary file format into a format that can be viewed by any standard media player.

Automatic data uploads
Upload evidence manually, or use KCI's encrypted wireless connection to upload audio and video evidence automatically to your server whenever the car drives within range.

Activation Trigger Points
MVP's trigger activation inputs allow personnel to display up to eight user-definable icons while collecting audio and video evidence. The system can be set to include a range of events, from "Record On/Off" and "Lights Activated" to "Shotgun Removed" and "Patrol Car Accident."

Radar Control
A complete user interface for the Stalker™ Radar is part of MVP's connection to laptop computers that eliminates the need for a separate handheld radar controller.

Transform MVP into a Workstation
MVP can be transformed into a fully functional, mobile workstation with digital video recorder in any vehicle by adding a display, keyboard and KCI software upgrade. The complete workstation offers comprehensive law enforcement system capabilities.

Speed Analysis software displays recently collected radar measurements. Officers can view a live numeric readout plus bar graphs showing maximum, minimum and average speeds. Officers press the reset button to start a new data collection period. Optional cluster graphs show the distribution of speeds.
