Chicago, IL - In partnership, Catalyst and Sun Microsystems have completed the Chicago Public Schools E-Rate Year 8 LAN System Improvement Project. Catalyst and Sun installed upgraded LAN switches, wireless access points and wireless NICs at 62 elementary, middle and high schools within the CPS school system. Altogether roughly 15,000 devices were installed in total at the schools which participated in the project.
