Travis Bloomfield, Principal & Chief Operating Officer
Mr. Travis W. Bloomfield serves as Principal and Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Catalyst Consulting Group, Inc. Mr. Bloomfield has over 14 years experience managing and coordinating large scale information technology (IT) projects that involve multiple stakeholders and resources. As COO at Catalyst, Mr. Bloomfield guides company strategy and direction, manages and mentors staff, and oversees the performance and profitability of the firm. In addition, Mr. Bloomfield serves dual roles in numerous projects as project executive and project/program manager.
Prior to joining Catalyst, Mr. Bloomfield was Founder and Partner of a start-up software company that served the IT consulting industry. He was responsible for company operations that included sales, marketing, creating partnerships, and company finances. In addition, Mr. Bloomfield implemented offshore development and a customer service operations center to minimize operation costs and maximize growth.
Mr. Bloomfield’s leadership experience includes:
- Project Executive for a multi-million dollar project to audit capital expenditures of various transportation-related service boards. This entailed conducting monthly reviews, field visits, and site inspections, validating documents, and presenting reports on the $1.8 billion capital project portfolio.
- Client Executive of a $24 million statewide voter registration system project that required interaction with the agency Executive Steering Committee and Project Director as it related to the design and development of the system.
- Project Executive overseeing an $8.5 million statewide voter registration system project. Specifically, Mr. Bloomfield directs the local election management system vendors’ modification and statewide deployment schedule.
Mr. Bloomfield has earned a stellar reputation for his ability to effectively manage, lead, and motivate teams both within Catalyst and at client sites.
