Chad Hoffman, Director of Application Development
Mr. Chad Hoffman is the Director of Application Development for Catalyst Consulting Group. Mr. Hoffman, a Microsoft Certified Solution Developer, has over eight years of private and public sector experience, with a focus on local government, financial services, and not-for-profits. Mr. Hoffman specializes in system architecture, enterprise software development, web-based applications, database design, and project management of application development projects.
Mr. Hoffman is recognized for his qualifications as a senior programmer and has devised solutions to numerous complex computing problems. He has experience designing, coding, testing, debugging, documenting, and maintaining computer systems. In addition, he has extensive experience formulating, assessing, and defining program scopes and objectives based on a thorough understanding of user and business needs and industry standards. Mr. Hoffman’s experience includes:
- Lead of the technical architecture, development, design and planning for the redesign of a large college district website and all associated college websites. This includes a content management solution to support implementation of the redesign; streamlined content creation; enablement of content reuse and segmentation; and implementation of an organized, distributed publishing strategy.
- Lead of the development of a public website for the second largest county in the United States that brought the county up to date with all the modern features that the public has come to expect from such a site, including athe ability of a resident to view a personalized virtual ballot for an upcoming election; verify his or her voter registration status; or find directions to the appropriate designated polling place.
- Lead developer and project manager of a financial services client invoicing system that invoices over 3,000 of the customer’s clients holding assets worth nearly $8 billion. The solution produced and archived invoices as PDF documents; provided robust reporting and data maining tools that allowed users to validate the integrity of the invoices; and allowed managers to extrapolate key data to identify and report on revenue trends across departments and revenue channels.
